Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

A34 near Oxford dog walk and dog-friendly pub, Oxfordshire

A popular dog walking venue, with loads of running space and facilities for people. Dog-friendly pubs within easy reach too. So whatever kind of a driving break you're looking for, this should fit the bill.

Free car park. There's a 2m height restriction. WCs and baby changing. Picnic tables with BBQ grills in enclosed section. Dog bins.

Wolvercote Common is common land on a grand scale, so there's plenty of space for your dog to have a really good leg-stretch. Be aware that the common is grazed by horses and cattle, keeping up the tradition of what 'common' land is all about. The animals are well used to people and stay out of the way - but you must make sure your dog is as respectful and doesn't chase or harass.
