It would be easy to miss this 18th century coaching inn as it's only when you get inside that the immense charm of the building shines through. A fabulous welcome from the resident dogs and an aroma of good home-cooking make this a good place to overnight, and the walk is a winner. Not too far from the A361, between Barnstaple and Tiverton.

Lovely, friendly and great food
Work the little detour off the main road, very quirky, very old pub. Food great and we were given a very warm welcome. Would definitely stop here again!
