A popular dog-friendly pub with lots of walkers, joggers, dog-walkers and families using it as a base to start their activities. Dog-friendly B&B rooms.
Two car parks, one to the left of the pub and another opposite. Beer garden on opposite side of lane to the pub.
Turn left from the Swan front door, and turn left down School Lane. The lane becomes a bridleway and leads you into Rowberrow Warren, or the woods. We crossed the stream by a dog bin and walked up the bridleway in the Warren. It's a clear and broad path and pretty kind on the feet with little mud. Another option is to carry straight on with School Lane and walk through the woods with the cascading spring water on your left. There's a sign for dogs to be on lead here in the woods. You'll find plenty of tracks on either walk to make navigation easy and very enjoyable.
