Victorian house and formal gardens managed by the National Trust. Dog walkers should head for the estate grounds and woodlands - open all day from dawn til dusk - where dogs are welcome to stretch their legs in some style over hundreds of acres.
Car park - P&D for non members. National Trust members park free. Entry fee to formal gardens (non-members). NT members free. No dogs in these gardens.
Stable café: dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area.
You can pick up route guides for the estate walks at the gatehouse, reception and shop. You're welcome to park in the main visitor car park or the car park at Respryn, which is handy for riverside walks.
Walkies etiquette Please keep dogs on their leads by riversides and in fields where livestock is grazing. Sadly dogs (except assistance dogs) are not permitted in the house or formal gardens.
