Description
Very pleasant local woodland walk, with some really loud woodpeckers to keep you company. No facilities, and not worth a detour from the motorway, but handy if you are already nearby.
Details
GPS coords for start of walk: 51.6579, -0.5262 On-street parking. Free parking after 12 noon Monday to Friday. Before that it's resident permits only. From A404 towards Amersham. Turn left to Chorleywood Village at Common Rd traffic lights. Continue under the railway bridge and turn right into Whitelands Ave. Footpath entrance is on Whitelands Ave. approx. 200m past Carpenters Wood Drive.
Walk
Nice woodland dog walk if you live locally to here, and easy to find your way around from the entrance. If you stick close to the edge of the woodlands you can do a circular walk on good paths.
