Safe off-lead dog walk in woodland with firm paths and free parking. Ideal for mid-journey walkies without getting completely muddy. After your walk you can either tuck into a snack at the picnic tables near the car park, or drive a very short way to a dog-friendly pub with a doggie menu and a dog lounge.

We followed sat nav which took us to walk via Roves Farm visitors centre. Drove to end of car park and found an entrance which is on the other side of the woodland mentioned in detail. Nice circular walk and came across picnic area. Roves farm has activity play area for children so if they need a break as well it’s a good stop off point.
