If the tourist crowds are overflowing from Broadway, this is a marvellous dog-friendly country inn to escape to! At first glance it seems to be part of an executive development. But once you're inside, the view is of a really well preserved ridge and furrow field from medieval times. If you have kids with you, get them to count the ridges!
