Description
Big sandy beach (tides permitting) that nestles in the lee of the A55 expressway. The section of the beach nearest to the shops and station is off limits to dogs.

GPS coords for car park: 53.2701, -3.9231 If you're planning to stay a while, it's worth stocking up with snacks and drinks on your way down.
Walk
You can get to the doggy part of the beach by crossing over the railway at the footbridge and then walking along the sea road as far as the end of the dog restrictions.
