Description
Popular dog walking spot between Huddersfield and Dewsbury. A bit of a clamber up to the top, but worth it.

Walk
The nature reserve is called Dalton Bank and as you start puffing up to the top, it is very obvious that the bank is steeper than you might imagine. Once at the top, the air and views are extensive and the paths link in to a network of routes around Kirkheaton. Nice walk if you live locally.
