Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

A82 Loch Oich picnic site, Scotland

A Forestry picnic and parking site on the shores of Loch Oich on the A82, southbound side coming from Fort William. It's a decent enough spot to give the dog a basic leg stretch and a break for the driver. But I do think that if you charge visitors for parking then there should at least be a rubbish bin on site.

GPS coords for car park: 57.0503, -4.7978 What3Words: ///wrong.polite.atlas  Use GPS as the postcode is miles out and the entrance comes up very quickly if you're not prepared. Picnic tables. P&D parking £1 for one hour.

On-lead walking only, and there is the chance for dogs who enjoy a swim to paddle out in the loch.
