A number of waymarked walks along the river Nethy
Spar shop, Community Centre has lists of walks when open, Close to Nethy Bridge Hotel (3 star dog friendly hotel and public bar), Possibility of a fish and chip van Monday evenings! Cash machine in Spar shop (charges)
The car park is just past the Community Centre in Dell Road. The walks start opposite the community centre on the river path. There are a number of waymarked circular routes starting from a gentle walk of a couple of miles or so upwards. We visited in winter (hence the snowy photos) but the path was still easily walkable. Some routes are wheelchair/pushchair friendly. Fine for dogs off lead along the river but some routes have road sections. We were staying at the Nethy Bridge Hotel and so didn't try the carpark but there is on street free parking in the area also. Nethy Bridge Hotel is very dog friendly and has a public bar - ignore the "no dogs" sign opposite the hotel - it only applies to the garden. Visited again in March 2014, no snow this time but above details all still correct. There are some new walking paths in the woods just through the sports pitches on the main road in Nethy Bridge, handy for a short walk if you are staying at the hotel.
