A forest walk towards a set of intriguing pre-historic cup and ringed rocks, which can really set the imagination going. The dogs won't be impressed, but tales of early sea traders will delight kids of all ages.
Picnic tables near the car park.
Take the clear path from the car park to see the petroglyphs. It's easy to follow, and there's a viewing platform close to the carvings.
There are other tracks through the forest too - watch out for temporary signs on some paths when logging is going on. But as this is part of the enormous Kilmichael Forest, there's no shortage of tracks and space.
