Anglesey dog-friendly pub with dog walk and beaches, Wales
Description
Small fishing village, with quite a collection of car parks and facilities and a dog-friendly pub with a great view over the water. The beach is dog-friendly, but better for rock-pooling than building sandcastles. The walk will take you to a large sandy beach so you get the best of all beachy worlds.
Details
Parking behind Kinmel Arms for customers. Public car parks, one with WCs in the middle of the village and signed off the A-road. Small P&D parking by the sea front.

Walk
Take the coast path around the bay to Lligwy Beach (dog-friendly). If you walk a small way on the road keeping the sea to your right, you'll reach a footpath sign and dog poo bin just before a wool shop. Turn right here and the coast path is well signed. Because of coast erosion, be alert to possible path diversions and if you think the path isn't safe - you're probably right. Divert. It's just under 2 miles to Lligwy, approx 40 mins walking but do stop to look out to sea!
