Ardmore Forest dog walk on the Isle of Mull, Scotland

Description

If you're just off or onto a ferry boat this part of the Ardmore Forest makes a useful stopping point to let the dog put his nose up for a good sniff and scamper.

Details

GPS coords for car park: 56.6320, -6.1513 What3Words: ///deflation.ethic.absorb  The postcode isn't particularly helpful in finding the car park. From Tobermoray,  turn right off the B882 at the sign for Glengormtate B&B and stay on this lane past the Scottish Water treatment site. The parking is a little further ahead on the right.

Walk

There are several places to start a walk in the Ardmore Forest,  this one is the easiest place to let Fido off-lead straight away.  Signed routes with coloured poles for waymarkers. There is a 2 mile marked trail from the car park. Watch out for cyclists, as this is also a popular bike route.
