Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Edited: 16th November 2018

Astbury Mere dog walk near Congleton, Cheshire

A former sand quarry which has now been transformed into a lake and country park. It's really popular with local dog walkers.

WC+disabled, café, visitor centre (open daily 0900-1700), children's play area. Car parking is available but it is no longer free. Stays up to 2 hours are 50p or £1.00 for a full day. Annual car park tickets also available. We'll worth the small charge considering the work that is done to keep the paths and woods in good condition.

Lovely dog walking, with no chance of losing your way.
