Balloch Park dog walk, Scotland

Great National Trust park with miles of walking. Lack of dog poo bins is a slight downside. Variety of areas: Lake side (water front); park; hills. Nice view of the castle. Plentiful benches for rests.

GPS coords for car park: 56.0141, -4.5830 What3Words: ///enhances.numeral.eruptions  Near the shops and restaurants. Balloch is a lovely town with a wealth of history.

Balloch Park is clearly posted. Look for the large Co-Op store and the entrance is right opposite.

Good stop on the way back to Glasgow from Oban

The castle is closed but the toilets are open! great for a picnic and short walk with the dog. Some dogs were off the lead. Quite busy, but paved paths and plenty of seating.
