Fabulous family day out, with a good long dog walk as well as the famous battlefield.  This is where Richard III got a drubbing from Henry Tudor. And Richard is the one who was later discovered under a car park.

GPS coords for car park: 52.5975, -1.4058  Follow brown tourist signs for Bosworth Battlefield. P&D parking. Large and well-equipped visitor centre has full facilities, restaurant with courtyard tables, and a series of excellent activity centres designed to thrill the inner 10-year-old of us all.
