Beer dog-friendly beach, Devon

Description

Beer is a small pebble beach that is a definite part of the village that surrounds it. There's quite an incline, and swimmers get into deep water very quickly - so not ideal for small non-swimming kids.

Details

There are pubs, WCs, shops in the village, and beach cafes in season.

Dogs need to be on leads in the village, Jubilee Gardens, and on the beach.

Dogs not allowed on the beach 'from a point immediately opposite the south-western most point below Charlies Yard in the east, and extending in a westerly direction for 200 metres.' Information from: http://www.eastdevon.gov.uk/beaches
