Popular and busy village 'local' with paths and a village green for a dog to have a bounce and snuffle. The village is just off the Fosse Way (A429). On the day Jem and I visited a bar-full of men made us feel unwelcome. I thought the days of being stared at for simply being female were long past. Apparently not. But obviously that's a reflection on the customers, and not the hard-working staff.
Car park behind the pub, children will like the horses there. Large beer garden

Dogs on leads welcome in the bar, and outside terrace
Steps to front entrance, access to rear patio.
The village green is to the right of the pub, and it's a large and generous space with children's play equipment. Thirsty dogs will enjoy turning left from the pub, then immediately go right onto a Bridleway and walk a short beside a gurgling brook. Jem loved this.
