Really nice walk, the lane in step 8 we passed a few houses that had put dog bowls of water outside of their gardens.

The meeting of footpaths at step 6 is a little to the left up a couple of steps away from the path.

Good variety: industrial heritage at the start (grid ref SK300569), then former railway line and woodland. Do visit the Arkwright mill after the walk, and do look out for the pay-and-display machine in the carpark opposite the mill.
