Massive forest and it's just ideal for a dog walk. If you're making a doggiestop on your journey, head for the visitor centre for the cafe and facilities plus dog walk.

Forest Centre car park is well signed from the A54 and the A556. P&D parking. Cafe. More activities for visitors, apart from walking the dog! Go Ape, bike and segway hire etc. Choice of car parks: Forest Centre Car Park - near to the , picnic area, café and WCs. Designated spaces for visitors with disabilities. Close to the start point for all the trails. Old Pale Car Park is a short way beyond Forest Centre car Park and a 2 minute walk from the visitor facilities. It is close to the start point for all the trails.Same price as main car park. Whitefield Car Park is off the B5152 and the largest and cheapest parking. It has picnic facilities and is close to the trails. Sometimes there's a catering van. Cheaper than the other car parks.

Walk

Three marked trails for walkers, and the walking paths are separate from the Bridleways and Bike tracks.
