This is a fabulous doggie beach with a lovely cafe and a relaxed and friendly feel to it. It's relatively undeveloped, with a large car park overlooking the beach and a busy cafe/shop/surf hire shop on the steps down to the beach. Surf schools and surfers in abundance.  Dogs are allowed on the beach on the right hand side of the steps, all year.
