We discovered this pet-friendly hotel very recently after dropping family off at Stansted airport.  So yes, it's very handy for the airport and also for some exploring in Essex.  One of those counties that is much more relaxed, dog-friendly and countrified than you'd guess from TOWIE.  You can only book a dog in by reserving with the hotel direct, and this also gives you a 20% discount in the bar (winter 2022).
