If you're looking for an authentic local pub this could be it. Traditional cob walls, low ceilings and a blazing log fire - together with over 400 years of refreshing the community. If only the pub could tell its own stories! The menu has moved with the times, and you'll find classic pub food done well. Sunday carvery is very good value, and gets marvellous reviews.
