Dog walk at the Parc Jean Perdrix, Valence, France

Description

If you're staying in Valence, this 26 hectare park is definitely worth a visit. There's a lake with a huge and award-winning sculpture (that's actually a water tank) and about 4,000 trees - which should keep any dog's nose busy for a while! It's in the 'new' part of the city, where parking in the large, free car park is a lot less stressful than in the centre.

How to get there

The large car park is on Rue Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

If you've stopped in Valence and want to get back onto the A7, the nearest junction is 14.
