This is simply fantastic and a beautifully scenic place to visit in the heart of Wales. It's all hills, woods and lakes here and amazing for walking.

Really easy to find. Parking is now £2 a day (2019) but you can use this in all car parks on the estate. The visitor centre has a cafe with lots of picnic tables outside where dogs are welcome. There is also an overhanging sheltered section with benches if the weather is not good. Plenty of dog bowls with water. We had great weather and did a circular walk from Nantgwilt church of 6 miles. Absolutely beautiful and Collie loved it. Headed back to the cafe for tea and finished with the easy access mile walk. Still more walks to explore so will definitely go back.
