Waterside park with walking trails along the River Stour. This is an open space of long standing. Apparently Henry II granted the first fishing rights to anglers here. The area took its name from a hand drawn ferry that used to cross the River Stour.
Signed from the A28. P&D parking. Boat trips along the river, starting from the Grove Inn pub. It's an electric boat, ideal for spotting wildlife.
There are established trail routes, or simply potter along the riverside at your own pace. It's lovely.
