Interesting combination of a fantastically long sandy beach, the coast path and also a nature reserve where reed beds have been made from earlier gravel pits. You can't get close obviously, but you can see the beds from the top of the dunes. Dogs are welcome on the beach and there's plenty of space for energetic ball games, family fun and swimming in the sea.
