Fantastic New Green site 5 mins from Junction 21 of the M1, with cafe :), Leicestershire
Description
Everards brewery in Leicester has relocated, and, as part of the agreement, have created links to a fantastic green space just off the M1. There's Jenno's cafe, which doesn't let dogs inside but there is water for dogs and plenty of outside seating. Free parking for 2 hours, and lots of good tarmac paths that lead to cycle paths and riverside walks.

Walk
Drive between Jenno's cafe and Rutland cycling to park in a 2 hour free stay car park. From here you can walk along the wide, tarmac path, throwing frisbees to your hearts content. Veer left and you'll find yourselves walking towards a bridge which spans the river Soar. Just over the bridge is a cycle path; at this junction you can take the river walk, the cycle path, go straight ahead...it's really nice. Loads of open space for dogs to stretch their legs, and a very nice cafe to sit outside with your cappuccino when you've worn your dog out.

Nice Space with Options
There's free parking, sufficient for a short stop. Right by the car park is a green space for a quick run around. Or, for a longer stop, you can head off down a choice of paths. The café is a large, modern, barista type of place. There's plenty of seating outside but there's not much cover if the weather's poor.
