Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Edited: 24th October 2020

Freshwater West dog-friendly beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Description

Popular beach for surfers, and for the site of Dobby's grave (no longer there), and it's dog-friendly. Gets very crowded at weekends and Bank Holidays, and whenever the surf is up.

Details

Roadside parking, narrow lane.

Walk

Plenty of walking along the beach and dunes. If your dog enjoys a swim, be aware there are rip tides and it's particularly dangerous on the outgoing tide. Use a long line if possible.
