Former farmland which is now a beautiful park for dog walks. Lots of lakes, ponds and woods to wander around in wide, flat, open spaces and an excellent network of paths.
WC and refreshments at the visitor centre, picnic area. P&D car park
This is a good space for walking. It's fairly flat and the paths wander through trees, around lakes and over the grassland. As a bonus, the Flitch Way passes nearby and can be reached along a bridleway. It's a 15 mile path along a disused railway and makes its way through some gloriously rural countryside, Victorian stations and old villages.
Many of the paths, including the Flitch Way, are well-maintained and accessible to everyone.
