A section of the Arden Way, boasting a great view with facilities and access paths.
P&D parking. WCs+disabled. Cafe, with hot drinks and light refreshments. Ranger cabin with nature board and well-informed ranger on duty. Mixture of hard and earth surface paths. Dog poo bins at strategic points.
The dog in the picture is 'Fern', astonished by a group of squirrels swinging in the trees above!
The paths within the country park are ideal for a 45 minute or longer dog walk, and are part of the North Arden heritage trail.
This is also a good starting point for exploring the Quarryman's Trail - a 10km circular trail passing by some of the former quarries which had apparently been worked since Roman times.
