Hay Wood dog walk, Warwickshire
Description
Forestry Commission woodland where you least expect to find it. Great for dogs, and Jem loves coming here.
Details
Free parking at a linear pull-in.
Possible to park at Baddesley Clinton House (NT) and walk up. WCs and cafe there only for NT members, and no dogs.
Walk
There are clearly defined tracks through the wood, and a central bridleway.
The easiest route is to walk around the edge of the wood, making it a 3 mile circular walk. This is one of Jem's favourites.
More dog walks from Hay Wood and nearby are in our book - Walks in Shakespeare Country. The walks are specially designed for dog walkers and all start from a dog-friendly pub.

Great 1 hour walk around the perimeter of the wood, off lead, lots to explore and keep busy with! Need to put on lead only when passing field with sheep in.
