A safe and livestock-free woodland walk with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy country sniffs and smells. Legacy of the late Felix Dennis, this is a new forest with various small bits of land joining up to create a wildlife corridor across the county. The paths are well looked after, and seats, poo bins and picnic tables are scattered around for visitor comfort.
Car park is unsurfaced and can get muddy or even flooded when the Avon bursts its banks. Donations requested to assist the forestry project.
Cross over the road from the car park, and into Dorothy's Wood. You'll immediately see orange circles showing the short walking route. and it's easy to extend this by doubling back on the many paths to choose here.
