Home to the totally amazing Millennium Stone, hoisted by a thousand people with ropes and pulleys as part of the millennium celebrations. This is a fabulous country park with lakeside beaches and big open spaces.

Details

There's a car park charge at weekends and every day in summer.

WCs + disabled, visitor centre and shop.

Boat trips on Strangford Lough in July and August - with basking sharks and porpoises to be seen.

Walk

There are 5 way-marked walks, all are wheelchair accessible:

Mullagh Walk 1.0km; Garden Walk 1.2km; Strangford Walk 2.0km; Corbally Walk 4.0km;  Longwalk 7.0km. 

Full information about the trails is available at the visitor centre, and there are map boards showing the routes too.
