Kingsford Forest dog walk, Worcestershire

Description

Tranquil walking spot right on the edge of the red sandstone ridge that characterises the soil and bricks of this top part of Worcestershire. In wet weather, expect red coloured doggy tummies and legs!

Details

Car park open 0800-1700 in winter, 0800-1900 in summer. Information point, WC, and picnic area.

Walk

There are 4 marked circular walks here, the Robin Trail (0.5km), The Coal Tit Trail (2km), The Nuthatch Trail (2.5km) and The Woodpecker Trail (3 km).

With around 200 acres of forestland and heath there's plenty of scope for great dog-walking. At weekends be aware of the possibility of horse riders and cyclists enjoying the same tracks.
