Convenient place to stop for a short walk on clean paths, shopping, meals (inc breakfast) and to see something of this developed part of the town.
We had an excellent breakfast in Grand Central cafe. Dogs welcome at outside tables - where you get a lovely riverside view. Several P&D car parks by the bridge.
Plenty of dog bins on the riverside path.
From Bridge Street, join the riverside footpath on the cinema side of the river. The footpath is well signed in both directions. We walked away from the town and really enjoyed the countryside feel and a lot of birdsong. Jem was fine off-lead.
