Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Edited: 1st July 2019

Llangrannog dog walk and dog-friendly beach, Wales

Very popular small pebble and sand beach, with 2 pubs and a couple of cafes almost on the beach.

Dogs are allowed on the right hand side of the beach all year round.

Pubs (dogs welcome at The Ship and the Pentre), cafes, post office and shop. Car park - charges in summer, and space is limited. Additional parking before the village. WCs.  Life guards on duty (summer) and first aid point.  Note: there is campervan access to the beach car park, but in high season parking is likely to be very tricky.

Walk - the coast path goes up the cliff to the right hand side (as you look at the sea) of the beach. Keep dogs on leads and away from the edge.  You can also walk round to two further beaches when the tide's out. There's a gap between the Cat rock and the cliff to reach these. Watch the incoming tide and don't get caught out.
