A dog-friendly pub with good food and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There is no dog walk from the pub door, but we did find a dog park where you can book your dogs in for a 60-minute play session in a private 3-acre space.

Walk
We didn't find a good dog walk from the door here, but a local lady recommended the dog walking fields close by called Copthorn Canines. Our two collies were glad of a rest and we didn't take them for a paid walk, but if you're short on time or have dogs with less than perfect recall this could be a lifesaver. You need to book ahead using their online booking system so this does require some organisation. Each walk area has a selection of toys and activities for dogs as well as plenty of space. The site is divided into two separate dog walks so that you have a whole 3-acre walk just for your dog.
