Stopped here on the way to, and on the way back from a week away to Wales with the dog. Really convenient place to stop, easy to find not far from the motorway. Nice canal to walk the dog along, and the pub is really dog-friendly. We ate lunch here twice, and were happy with the food. Lots of space for our dog to lie at our table, and plenty of water etc. provided.

Great food and lovely surroundings
Fabulous location on the canal (brilliant for leg stretching on way to wales) . Anchor is lovely - we sat on outdoor terrace alongside canal - inside looks good too. Really recommend the beef brisket sandwich
