There's plenty of space here for a good long dog walk, either on the signed trails or just rambling around the 200 hectares of the park. The main feature is the huge lake, or ‘flash', which is home to a host of wildfowl including some black swans.

Pay & Display car park, blue badge holders free. WC+disabled, information centre, mobile café, children's play area, dog water bowls, dog poo bin.
Walk
There's plenty of space here for a good long walk, either on the signed trails or just rambling around the 200 hectares of the park. The main feature is the huge lake, or ‘flash', which is home to a host of wildfowl including some black swans.
To get to the trails, go past the children's play area and there is a choice of a water path by the lake or a woodland path.
The paths are well maintained and shared with cyclists and horses.

Green 114 PointsVisited March 2010. A bit busy at the weekend but plenty of space. Ice Cream van and hot food stall were in attendance! Parking £1. Postcode will get you near enough, but main car park is at lat/lon 53.487254,-2.538781

Fantastic County Park
Great, clean country park for dog walking and swimming. Lots of hides to view local wildlife. Ice cream van and fast food van for snacks most days. Lovely kids playground, clean toilets and rangers hut. V dog friendly.
