Even in mid-summer this dog walk route will take you and the pooch away from the crowds and into the refreshing calm of the banks of the River Eamont. It's a 'there and back' walk of a mile or so, with dog swimming options.  Afterwards, the dog-friendly pub gives chews and biscuits to well-behaved dogs, and serves food, drinks and tea.
