Description
This is a great walk for blowing the travel cobwebs away. There are two colour coded trails running through the forest, and most dogs will be very safe off-lead here.

Mimicking what others have said, great find with some lovely views. Trees helped keep the wind and rain away too! We weren't entirely sure where the parking would be, but if you follow the GPS co-ordinates, you'll find the parking space by the bin and bench as pictured then walk to the silver gate.

Perfect if you want a short walk, or you want to venture further, after the first gate, our dogs were off lead the whole time. The path rises up into the wood and you get some lovely views of the area.

We would not have found this without you. Very dog friendly walk up a gradual slope to a fantastic view, you can walk back down the same way if you are short of time. We let our dog off for a little while, which he just loves to do, but only when he is in a safe environment.

Hi heading to south Spain with our two retrievers. We saw this walk when I joined the site. Brilliant just of the motorway then into safe woodland they had a great time and no need to divert for miles would never have found it without driving with dogs thanks so much x

Great walk and space for dogs and children
V close to motorway. Easy to find. Park just offf the road. 3 mile round trip walk but equally easy to make shorter. Excellent for dogs and children. Some great giant tree roots/banks for climbing.
