Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

M74 junctions 3 and 4 historic dog walk, Scotland

Premium

Description

This is a popular walking spot for local dogs, and there is plenty of lush grassy space for dogs to hurtle around in. There are a number of little beaches around the loch - ideal for picnics (or a snooze). Let the ruined 13th century castle here tell its stories of battles gone by, it's got plenty to say!   This walk is midway between Junction 3 and 4 - so a useful stop whichever way you're heading.
