5km easy walk along section of canal towpath & return via same route. This walk is also convenient for junctions 6 and 7 of the M80.

Walk
Park at side of canal, follow towpath in easterly direction passing under M80 motorway and locks 19 & 18, continue past Underwood House (destroyed by fire in Dec 2013) (on opposite side of canal sightings of the Antonine Wall are visible). Continue east until reaching road bridge B816 at Bridge Street, Bonnybridge. return by retracing route

Nice canal side Walk
Good stop for a quick walk. Nice walk along the canal. The banks are quite high so not accessible for swimming and there were a few cyclists.
