Walk

For Hurlers three stone circles follow the signed dirt path from the car park or make your own way across the grassy moor.  It really is that easy to find.  Once you have walked through the third circle, Stowes Hill a.k.a. The Cheesewring PL14 5AT rises in the distance.  This is a long granite ridge with manmade rock formations.  It is quite steep to climb but even if you do not fancy scaling the rocks, they make a brilliant photo opportunity so please investigate.

Walk back toward the tarmac road, then away from the village of Minions to see Long Tom, a.k.a The Long Stone, an historical landmark.

Returning to Minions, afternoon tea at the Hurlers Halt (ADS) is recommend.  Alternatively, stop at the Cheesewring pub for a revitalising pint.
