Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Edited: 27th March 2020

Mintlaw dog walk, Scotland

A glorious green space with plenty of ground for dogs to romp around. Either walking around the grounds or messing around in the dog play area, there's no better place for a hound to let off steam.

WC+disabled, restaurant, P&D car park April-September, free parking October-March, children's play area, picnic tables, craft shop. Ice cream kiosk in summer. The Aberdeenshire Farming Museum is also here.

There's lots of great walks here, with six miles of paths to follow through the trees and across grassy areas. There's also a small lake and the River Ugie where overheated doggies can take a dip to cool down.

The areas where dogs can run off-lead are clearly marked, and there is also an exercise area where they can practice their agility as well as explore some elevated walkways.
