Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Edited: 21st January 2019

National Forest dog walk, Derbyshire

Top class dog walking in the developing forest, and easy to get to from both the A42 and the A511.

WCs and coffee shops in both the Ferrer's Centre and also the Staunton Harold Garden Centre (where the car parking is). Staunton Harold Chapel (National Trust) and Staunton Harold Hall and Estate are also accessible from here.

There are plenty of signed paths here. For starters you could begin in Bignall's Wood and then do a circular walk through Jaguar Lount wood and Alasdairs Wood onto Ivanhoe Way and back. Great for dogs and not as far as it sounds.
