National Herb Centre Walks, Oxfordshire

Some pub opening times and dog rules are still changing. Please check your chosen pub is able to welcome you before making plans.

Description

There's a choice of trails from the National Herb Centre just north of Banbury. It's on a fairly steep valley slope, so a fair level of fitness is required for both humans and dogs. There are also some excellent views. The National Herb Centre is approximately 6 miles from both junctions 11 and 12 of the M40, so is convenient for a break in journey either North of South without having to retrace your steps.

Details

The National Herb Centre is on the B4100 between Gaydon in Warwickshire and Banbury in Oxfordshire and is well signposted. Please note the trails can be very muddy during wet weather and may be closed at times. For more up-market dining, the Falcon at Warmington is a few hundred yards down the road to Banbury and is very dog-friendly.
