Edited: 7th October 2019

Newgale dog-friendly beach, Wales

Description

Large sandy beach at low tide, ideal for blowing away the canine cobwebs during the winter months. In summer there's a partial dog ban covering part of the beach and the promenade as well. Check signs carefully to avoid a hefty fine.

Details

P&D car park on Welsh Road with WCs + disabled. Picnic tables. Waste bins. Caravan and camping sites. In summer there are no dog restrictions to the left side of the lifeguard station. The area is clearly marked.

Walk

Either on the stony beach at low tide when there's sand, or the coastal path. Either way, your dog will be delighted.
